Rustic Patio Spruce-Up on a Budget

Hey Loves!!  Long time, no see!

We have been busy living over here and sadly, IG took over for the quick fix.  Call me nostalgic, but I wanted to pop on here and share a few ways I hooked up our little spare patio space for Summer and let's face it, for Fall because it stays pretty warm here up until November.

Most of my outdoor time is spent on this back porch...

But the little patio at the bottom of the stairs was bare and sad.  It all began with a pool water run-off problem... our pool is salt water, and with a ton of use and splash out, nothing would grow around this weird entrance area.  To solve the issue, we had a small stamped concrete patio put in last year, just down the staircase from the porch, heading into the pool area.  Other than a spot for the grill, we never used this patio, because we are always on the porch instead.  So this year I decided to rework this little space on a budget.  (I love a little challenge).

Last year I missed out on that fabulous macrame outdoor umbrella from World Market, and when I saw they restocked them this Spring, I ordered one... she's a beauty.  A few sets of outdoor lights,  DIY pole planters, and of course the wire spool (compliments of a certain lineman) and now it is just the perfect little rustic spot for s'mores night!

Maybe a new conversation set would be nice,  but I just reused what we had and can set a goal for a new one later!
 (Bloom where you're planted right?)
